Colorado weekend
This last weekend I got to fly to Denver to visit my sister and her husband and baby-to-be! It was my first trip alone in about 4 years. I was their first out-of-state visitor in their new house that they moved into a few months ago. Their house is so nice and super cute. We took some pics in their backyard. I am 25 weeks now, and Kristin is 34. I can't believe our babies are going to be so close in age, and both boys, it will be a blast!
On Friday we made homemade pizza and went swimming in the pool (I didn't post our bikini pics, even though I thought we looked pretty cute)! Saturday we went shopping (with Jason, too) to Babies R Us and had a shopping spree and then went home and set up the nursery - which is super cute too, all green and brown. Then Jason had to go to work (he is working as a park ranger, and summer is their busy season), so Kristin and I drove to Boulder and went out to dinner and then shopping on Pearl Street. It was so different to go out to dinner without Cameron and be able to take my time to eat! Sunday we went on a hike on the trails in their backyard.
We had a lot of fun, but I wish they lived closer so we could hang out more, especially after the babies come. It was fun to see her belly move all over the place - we are both going to have some active little boys to run after! Oh, and Joe had SOOO much fun at home with Cameron all weekend by themselves, they went to the park and the lake and out to eat!
Other than that we have been busy with Cameron as usual, and starting to prepare for our next little one. I need to start planning Cam's birthday - he turns 2 in about 6 weeks! This has been such a fun age, he is so funny and sweet and talkative! Last week I gave him a bowl of dry Cheerios to eat, and he pointed to them and said "Momma, milk on the cheerios":)
We are going to a wedding in a couple weeks, but besides that we have no trips planned until Cameron's birthday when we will be going to Madison. So hopefully we will have a few quiet weekends around the house for once!
